  1. Hello Dawne

    The peonies are in their prime and I love the darling boys bearing their gift of flowers.
    Your home looks beautiful. Perhaps I drove past your door this week when in Keene Valley

    1. Thank you, Helen. No, we don't live in the Keene Valley, but my dad grow up there in Jay. It has changed drastically, however, with every single maple tree cut down from around the village green. It was so pretty at one time.

  3. Yes, it was indeed a fun party and didn't we meet some lovely new friends in Paris?!?

    Those peonies are gorgeous, but the boys holding them are precious treasures...

    I have a vase of

    {you will so 'get' this. I just turned around to look at my vase of peonies to see what shade of pink to call them and the way the sun was coming through the window on them made me gasp and I grabbed my camera....}

    Now, where was I? Oh yes, my vase of deep magenta colored peonies I cut yesterday while our grandkids were out playing in the yard... We've been renting here for just 10 days and I hadn't realized there was this gorgeous peony bush with giant flowers that were so heavy they were drooping towards the ground and hiding!

    Isn't God ~ and His creations ~ MAGNIFICENT?!?!?

    The 2 kids spent the night and today the sun is shining and we have plans for the water hose ... give kids a hose and that keeps them entertained! (and an ancient playset with a see-saw....)

    We now have a roof on the home we are constructing, so I don't have to go sweep the water out anymore after it rains. (those pools of water made me cringe)

    Blessings on you dear Dawne, Your Everlasting Farm is DREAMY!!!

  12. Dawne,
    The picture of the boys with the Peonies is precious. There's just something about a little boy with flowers in his hand that makes my heart sing! It reminds me of the time my son came home from the store and behind his back was a dozen roses.
