A few posts ago I mentioned the French photographer who had photographed the collection of "reliquaires d'amour", here, Jean Boccacino.
Well, Jean is also one of my favorite Mixed Media painters
There is something so ineffably French about his paintings...
Can I just say that I LOVE this work of art?
He is also a wonderful art photographer.

Dawne,
ReplyDeleteJean Boccacino's art work is so colorful and unique. I really like it. I clicked on my blog on your side bar and it went directly to me, so I thank you for working with that. This blogger thing is a pain to figure out sometimes, ya know? Have a lovely day.

Dawne,
ReplyDeleteje ne sais pas comment vous dire combien je suis sensible à un si grand honneur!
Soyez mille fois remerciée pour votre si grande gentillesse!
Avec mon amitié.
Jean Boccacino
Chère Dawne, I LOVE THIS..and I love that he wrote to you as well! My goodness, I just went to see his art and it is exquisite my friend. Do you know the works of Miss Clara? If not, GOOGLE:
ReplyDeleteLe Jardin de Miss Clara.
She is my favorite.
Much love to you this day, Anita
Oh ma belle,
ReplyDeleteParles-tu français? Si oui, je peux laisser des commentaires en français! The French are masters at art. That is just fact. Every new French intern I get in my classroom every year seems to have at least had art classes beyond my understanding and most of them are wonderful artists as well who HAVE A GOOD EYE. Jean's work is so whimsical, that is what I strive for in my art. I have resurrected my drawing since I have been blogging myself, and Miss Clara has had a huge influence on me. She was kind enough to email me a couple of weeks ago after I had inquired what the name of the song was that plays on her website. AND OH YEAH, I have seen that YOUTUBE where she takes you through her magical home. My home is somewhat similar; I love this space. And In can only imagine that your home space is just as French and FÉERIQUE...
GRosses bises ma nouvelle amie! Anita

Dear Dawne, I am wondering, and you can decline, if I would have permission to use your photo of the castle with the moon over it? I am composing my next post and I need a striking moon shot. I would credit you of course with a link and mention of your fabulous blog. My goodness how your style hits me right.
Let me know. Merci bien! Anita
Oh Dawne dearest, YOUR photos spoke to me and then I heard the music again. THANK YOU for sharing your talents with me. I pray that your work will have the same affect on those who BEHOLD your Paris skies and then learn to make their own music. We inspire each other and LOVE is the ultimate mark. MANY MANY THANKS and you and Ruben DO notice the same lines!!!! HE ALSO LOVES YOUR WORK! And he also asked me to ask you how you like RED BUBBLE. Perhaps I should go to email....Anita
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for stopping by and your lovely comment. I am so glad I found you. Your work is beautiful.

Bonjour ma belle,
ReplyDeleteI want to thank you again for allowing me to use your beautiful photography. No other rendition of the moon could be perfect for the simple words I had welling up in my heart this week as I composed my post. Paris, the moon, Debussy, and DAWNE'S photos...the perfect match.
Have a splendid day basking in the love of God. Anita
Jean's work is so interesting! And your photography is gorgeous!!!

Hi Dawne, that art truly has a french feel to it and that last image is amazing!!! I will have to check out those links. Thanks for sharing! Have a lovely new week, my friend!
ReplyDeleteLove, Kristin
Dawne,
ReplyDeleteI wanted to say thank you for your lovely comments yesterday. No, I haven't been to all those places...I wish. I had my kids when I was very young, so I never got the chance to travel. I'm glad that they are experiencing other people's traditions though. I've been to a few places with them, such as Iowa, but none of the places in Europe.
I'm so glad I came across your blog. I just love it.
